Wemby made quick decisions, found a groove, and protected the rim at an elite level! D. Vassell (21pts,5rebs,3stls) gave Wemby much needed scoring down the stretch, and was reliable from the mid-range. He answered with critical buckets and solid defense, when the Spurs needed him! S. Castle (14pts,6rebs,8ast,2stls) D. Fox (14pts,4ast,3stls) and D. Harper (13pts,5rebs,8ast) all had different points in the game, where their impact was felt on the defensive end, as well as the offensive side of the ball. When all three point guards are playing defense, getting steals, penetrating and assisting, as well as pushing the pace, this team is hard to beat! The Jazz fought all game, and pushed the defending Western Conference champs to overtime, but the Spurs were poised and executed the game plan, in order to get the win!
