Spurs: The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Dallas Mavericks 139 to 120 in what might be Wemby’s last game of the regular season! WEMVP (40pts,13rebs,5ast,2blks) was spectacular for the Spurs and finished with the 65 games played. The minimum needed in order to be eligible for defensive player of the year, as well as MVP! S. Castle sat out another game, but the Spurs are deep at point guard! D. Fox (18pts,10ast) and D. Harper (13pts,6ast) made sure the Spurs would win this game! J. Champagnie (14pts) and C. Bryant (12pts) played solid defense and hit timely shots. The bench unit was awesome again with K. Johnson (17pts,6rebs) and H. Barnes (15pts) keeping up constant pressure on a Mavs team that will be looking towards the off-season! The Spurs have won 30 of thier last 33 and are playing great basketball with one game left in the regular season!

Dallas: The Dallas Mavericks have a future star in C. Flagg (33pts,6rebs,5ast) whom is rookie of the year! They also have young talent in R. Nembhard (13pts) and AJ. Johnson (13pts) so the off-season will be one to watch! A top draft pick and some healthy players returning will make this team more competitive next year and start a rivalry renewed with San Antonio!
