San Antonio Spurs

Brandon Lucero here, Journalist and Photographer dedicated to covering the San Antonio Spurs. I served onboard the USS San Antonio while in the United States Navy! I utilized my GI Bill and went to college where I received my Associates and Bachelors degrees in Journalism and Photography!

Spurs: The San Antonio Spurs beat the Memphis Grizzlies 123 to 98 in a dominant win where the Spurs lead from the opening jump! V. Wembanyama (19pts,15rebs,7blks) and S. Castle (15pts,9ast) each had solid performances as well as having a few poster dunks on GG Jackson II and T. Hendricks of the Grizzlies. K. Johnson (15pts) and H. Barnes (11pts) were solid off the bench. D. Vassell (19pts) and J. Champagnie (13pts) were hitting their outside shots and played good fundamental defense! D. Harper (10pts,5rebs,6ast) played well and got his second career start with D. Fox sitting out. The Spurs are 31-9 since January 1st and are playing well heading into the stretch run before the playoffs!

Grizzlies: GG Jackson (20pts) and W. Clayton Jr (10pts,6ast) are solid pieces to build on but Memphis will be looking in the draft in order to find a star as well as other pieces to build on!
