San Antonio Spurs

Brandon Lucero here, Journalist and Photographer dedicated to covering the San Antonio Spurs. I served onboard the USS San Antonio while in the United States Navy! I utilized my GI Bill and went to college where I received my Associates and Bachelors degrees in Journalism and Photography!

Spurs: The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Phoenix Suns 101 to 100 in a tightly contested game where the Suns lead by 10 points in the fourth quarter, but Wemby got the opportunity to hit the game winner and send the Spurs to the playoffs for the first time since 2017! V. Wembanyama (34pt,12rebs,3stl) had an amazing game, and the game winner against a pesky Suns team that packed the paint and tried to make the Spurs hit outside shots consistently! Wemby was patient and finally cooked by hitting the game winner and showing why he is an MVP candidate! D. Fox (23pts,7rebs) was on point in the fourth quarter as the Spurs made a comeback where he was a main factor as of why the Spurs came back in this game! J. Champagnie (14pts) and D. Vassell (12pts) each had moments in this game and fought to help get the Spurs the dub! Tough game for the Spurs bench but without S. Castle, this was going to be an uphill battle no matter what! Wemby called game, and the Spurs are showing why they are legit, having won 21 of their last 23! Wemby=MVP in my book!

Suns: C. Gallespie (24pts) and D. Booker (22pts) were the reason the Suns had a chance to win this game! They need help to make the playoffs but will be a tough out when everyone gets healthy!
