San Antonio Spurs

Brandon Lucero here, Journalist and Photographer dedicated to covering the San Antonio Spurs. I served onboard the USS San Antonio while in the United States Navy! I utilized my GI Bill and went to college where I received my Associates and Bachelors degrees in Journalism and Photography!

Spurs: The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Sacramento Kings 132 to 104 as the team makes history hitting 25 three pointers creating a new franchise record in the process! V. Wembanyama (18pts,8rebs) and J. Champagnie (17pts) lead the way hitting three pointers to help the Spurs go up by 30 points early. Seven Spurs scored in double figures as the team played confident and made the correct pass in order to set up wide open teammates! S. Castle (3pts,12ast) and D. Fox (15pts,6ast) made quick work of the Kings backcourt. Almost 20 assist between the starting backcourt was contagious for a Spurs team playing its best basketball down the stretch!

Kings: M. Raynuad (32pts,9rebs) and D. Plowden (14pts) were the only bright spots for a Kings team that has regressed from a few years ago. Now they have a team of vets that need a new change of scenery and a chance at joining a contender.
