Spurs: The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 119 to 115 in a game where both teams lead by double digits! S. Castle (23pts,7rebs,8ast) played solid for the Spurs in victory. He and D. Fox (18pts,6ast) attacked a shorthanded Clippers team that was playing without K. Leonard. The Spurs feel behind 17 to 3 to start the game, but picked up their defensive intensity and focused on playing solid basketball! V. Wembanyama (21pts,13rebs,4blks) and D. Vassell (20pts) helped lead the charge and get the Spurs the lead. The Spurs ended up leading by 24 points in the third quarter but the Clippers young players cut the lead to single digits in the fourth! It took more effort and focus to close the game out by the Spurs starter but they got the job done! C. Bryant (8pts) played well off the bench for the Spurs. The California native was locked in on both ends of the ball! The Spurs got their 50th win of the season, the last time they did that K. Leonard was on the team. It must have been destiny for them to get it in front of Kawhi in a season that might match up the former finals MVP against his former team in this years playoffs!
Clippers: The Los Angeles Clippers fought back after giving up a big lead. D. Garland (25pts,10ast) and J. Miller (22pts) helped get the game back to single digits in the fourth quarter but the Spurs were too much and closed the game out!
