Spurs: The San Antonio Spurs lost to the Denver Nuggets 136 to131 in a game where both Wemby and Gordon did not play and Denver came back from down 20! S. Castle (30pts,11rebs,10ast) and D. Fox (27pts,9ast) each help carry the Spurs in this game. The Spurs went up by 20 points and were playing solid basketball but the Nuggets had other things planned. H. Barnes (20pts) and D. Harper (13pts) did their best to help the Spurs keep the lead but it was not enough! This team is good without Wemby, but they are not anything close to a championship contender if Wemby is not in the lineup.
Nuggets: N. Jokic (31pts,21rebs,12ast) and J. Murray (39pts,7ast) played out of their minds to get the Nuggets the win. The team was down by as many as 20 points but had no quit in them! Denver will be a solid championship contender if all pieces are healthy and able to play!
