Spurs: The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Houston Rockets 111 to 99 with a big game from V. Wembanyama (28pts,16rebs,5blks). He set the tone defensively in the fourth quarter allowing the Spurs to outpace and outscore the Rockets 27 to 13. The trio of D. Fox (18pts,8ast) and S. Castle (16pts,6rebs) and D. Harper (16pts) outpaced and Rockets and eventually turned the game around for the Spurs! It took a half, but a an extra gear clicked on for the Spurs and they seemed to not only believe they could beat the Rockets, but seemed to remember that this Rockets team is slow and can be beaten with physicality and great pace! As good as K. Durant is, he is nearing 40 yrs of age so the pace has to be up tempo and pushing back is necessary in order to wear out old legs! K. Johnson (17pts,7rebs) again was a force off the bench and a solid piece in pushing back and not backing down from adversity!

Rockets: K. Durant (24pts) and A. Thompson (25pts) played great for the Rockets, but it was not enough to get the win! A. Sengun (18pts,10rebs,7ast) also played great, but his lack of defense really hurt the Rockets in the fourth quarter!
