Game Flow: The San Antonio Spurs won in overtime against the New Orleans Pelicans in a competitive game that went back and forth throughout the entire night. WeM-VP was a steady force in the game with 29 points, 11 rebounds and 9 blocks. D. Vassell contributed to the win with 23 points and 5 rebounds, as well as having his own spurts to help keep the Spurs within reach. S. Castle had a solid performance with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. He even hit a clutch 3 pointer that gave the Spurs the lead but the Pelicans tied it at the free throw line and the game went to overtime. In overtime the Spurs seemed in trouble with Wemby fouling out, but the young Spurs battled back and won in OT! L. Kornet finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds off the bench and D. Harper also contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds to help steady the Spurs bench unit! The officials seemed to call every little bit of contact so multiple Spurs and Pelicans were in foul trouble the entire night.

Pelicans: Z. William showed the skinny Zion will be a force in the NBA. He had 27 points and 10 rebounds as well as a couple poster dunks during the game. T. Murphy III also had a great game with 24 points and 10 rebounds. The pelicans always seem to play the Spurs tough and will be a fun match up moving forward!
